He estado
dándole vueltas a la idea de escribir un blog relacionado al Dibujo
Urbano (Urban Sketching) en nuestro país, una actividad que descubrí en el 2014
pero que en Caracas se viene realizando desde el 2011, por lo menos lo que se
conoce. Después de varios años de pertenecer al grupo Dibujantes Urbanos
Caracas (USKCCS), me di cuenta que hacía falta registrar esta actividad no solo
en las redes sociales, como lo venimos haciendo, sino que también se conozcan
sus orígenes, las personas que lo conforman, la trayectoria y evolución, su
impacto en los demás y en la ciudad, cómo nos ha afectado la situación país,
qué hacemos diferente. Un estudio de lo que significa este movimiento en un
país como el nuestro. Sin ser escritora, ni socióloga ni periodista, sino desde
mi perspectiva como una dibujante urbana mas, quiero dejar en este blog la
historia de los Dibujantes Urbanos, espero poder contar con mi grupo para que
me cuenten sus anécdotas, quiero descifrarlos, que muestren sus dibujos, que me
cuenten cómo llegaron hasta aquí. Quiero que este proyecto se convierta en un
testimonio del movimiento Urban Sketchers en Caracas y su significado como
crónicas dibujadas de la ciudad …y por qué no? de Venezuela. Quiero pasar las
fronteras de nuestra ciudad y ver mas allá, los he visto dibujando por allí,
silenciosos, me gustaría hacerlos parte de la historia del Dibujo Urbano en
Venezuela, quiero que uds. lectores, conozcan un movimiento mundial,- que gracias
a Gabriel Campanario- llegó a Caracas en el 2011,
manteniéndose a pesar de todo hasta el día de hoy, y por eso los invito
a que me acompañen en esta iniciativa…ya estoy trabajando en la próxima entrega
los espero.

I have been mulling over the idea of writing a blog related to Urban Sketching in our country, an activity that I discovered in 2014 but which has been taking place in Caracas since 2011, at least what is known. I want this project to become a testimony of the Urban Sketchers movement in Caracas and its meaning as drawn chronicles of the city… and why not? from Venezuela. I want to pass the borders of our city and see beyond, I have seen you drawing there, silently, I would like to make you part of the history of Urban Sketching in Venezuela, I want you, readers, get to know a worldwide movement, - which thanks to Gabriel Campanario- arrived in Caracas in 2011, maintaining itself despite everything to this day, and that is why I invite you to join me in this initiative ...
