Esmeralda es artista  plástico y también pertenece al Círculo de Dibujo de Caracas.

Esmeralda no vive en Caracas, sino en el Estado Vargas , a unos 35 min en carro, esto que escribo para presentarla lo hicimos vía whatsapp, internet ha estado insufrible las últimas semanas, no me había podido enviar la información y los dibujos que le pedí, así que hicimos un intercambio de audio donde nos reímos mucho, siempre es muy agradable hablar con ella.

La primera vez que tuve jornada con ella, me dio algunas recomendaciones en un dibujo que estaba haciendo, casualmente dibujábamos el mismo, muy relajada, me inspiró confianza, yo estaba un poco  perdida, así que ella acudió al rescate, era una fachada del pueblo El Hatillo, nunca se me olvida eso.

Como algunos otros, Esmeralda conoció a varios dibujantes en el evento “Caracas en 12 puntos” siendo artista plástico y estando acostumbrada a lo académico, decidió probar con el dibujo como es concebido por los Dibujantes Urbanos.

… “ese don que Dios le da a uno, uno lo practica en muchas tendencias, o muchas digamos especialidades, que si el dibujo, la pintura, etc.  y yo me escapé de los artistas plásticos para probar el dibujo urbano…no es fácil hacer el dibujo suelto comparado con el académico, hay una diferencia abismal…tú haces el dibujo que te dé esa soltura, esa alegría … a mí me encantó”

Logro conseguir fotos de los dibujos de Esmeralda una vez que llega internet, dejo todo lo que estoy haciendo y adelanto mis búsquedas para guardarlas y luego seguir en caso que me quede sin internet de nuevo. Que estrés!

Hoy en día, muchos de nosotros nos dedicamos a varias cosas. Esmeralda no es la excepción. De vez en cuando y de forma privada realiza retratos, sigue dibujando. Por las condiciones de su vivienda también ha incursionado en tener una huerta, para consumo familiar.

Me dispongo a copiar en mi laptop las respuestas de Esmeralda, no puedo aguantar la risa, cada audio tiene el sello del buen humor de Esmeralda.

Esmeralda is a plastic artist and also belongs to the Caracas Drawing Circle.

Esmeralda does not live in Caracas, but in Vargas State, about 35 min by car, what I write to present it we did via WhatsApp, the internet has been insufferable in recent weeks, she had not been able to send me the information and the drawings that I asked for , so we did an audio exchange where we laughed a lot, it's always so nice to talk to her.

The first time I had a usk meeting with her, she gave me some recommendations in a sketching she was doing, we had to draw the same one, very relaxed, she inspired confidence, I was a bit lost, I was very new on Uskccs, so she came to the rescue, it was a facade of the town El Hatillo, I never forget that.

Like some others, Esmeralda met several sketchers at the “Caracas in 12 points” event, being a plastic artist and being used to academics, she decided to try sketching as it is conceived by Urban Sketchers.

… “That gift that God gives to one, one practices it in many tendencies, or many, let's say specialties, that if drawing, painting, etc. and I escaped from the plastic artists to try urban sketching… it is not easy to draw loose compared to academic drawing, there is an abysmal difference… you make the sketch that gives you that ease, that joy… I loved it "

"Because of the situation we live in, (she refers to the situation in Venezuela) it has been very difficult for me to share more frequently with you guys, I do not lose contact because I gained many valuable friendships, and here we go ..."

I manage to get photos of Esmeralda's drawings once the internet arrives, I stop everything I'm doing and advance my searches to save them and then continue in case I run out of internet again. What a stress!

Today, many of us are dedicated to various things. Esmeralda is no exception. She from time to time and privately she makes portraits, she continues to draw. Due to the conditions of her house, she has also ventured into having a kitchen-garden, for family consumption.

"Who was going to say, that I was going to do what my Canarian grandmother did when she came to this country, sow" - refering to her garden -

"Look , put nice photos on that blog, don't do like Max, instead of letting you know ... no, he would throw those photo booths at you, ID type, when you were unprepared ..." - we laugh - (Max used to take us picture without letting us know, so there are some funny pictures of Sketchers out there)

I am about to copy Esmeralda's answers onto my laptop, I can't help laughing, each audio has the stamp of Esmeralda's good humor.
